I’m the Art Show, Deal with It gallery show

Open Call for Submissions for “I’m the Art Show, Deal with It!” gallery show:

PixelDrip is now accepting submissions for the “I’m the Art Show, Deal with It!” gallery show set to take place this winter in Los Angeles. If you or anyone you know is interested in submitting, please contact Sasha Palacio or Mark Batalla at pixeldripgallery@gmail.com with an image of finished artwork or works in progress.

Multiple submissions are welcome. Illustrations, paintings, infographics, scultptures, toys, dioramas, and multimedia presentations all qualify. Canvas and framed pieces should be 11 inches by 14 inches or smaller. Larger works must be approved by Mark. We have limited space for larger pieces. Artwork should not be explicitly violent or sexual. If you can’t get away with the content on cable television, then it will not be accepted. The art show is intended for a broad audience of all ages.

DIGITAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 30TH. PixelDrip will then determine which pieces will be displayed on the walls and tables. The show will exhibit original versions of artwork, print copies, and art slideshows on digital displays. The digital displays via digital picture frames and projectors will be a way for the show to accomodate as many artists as possible regardless of venue space or shipping issues with artwork.

Those with pieces chosen for wall or table display will be contacted by PixelDrip shortly afterwards and given an address to ship artwork to. ALL WORK THAT IS SHIPPED TO PIXELDRIP MUST INCLUDE RETURN POSTAGE. PixelDrip is not responsible for shipping back artwork with no return postage included. Please provide artist name, title of piece, size dimensions, medium, and price with your art submissions. Art must be ready to hang (preferably with wire) or exhibit when it is received. Any further installation instructions must be included.

DROP OFF: SUNDAY, JANUARY 13TH is the last day to drop off artwork. If you are local to southern California and still working on art, let Sasha or Mark know in order to arrange a late drop off.

PICK UP: PixelDrip is not responsible for art that is not picked up on the designated date. Let Mark know ahead of time of any changes in the scheduling.
